பேச்சு ஆங்கிலத்தை ( Spoken English ) வளர்த்துக் கொள்வதற்கான எளிய குறிப்புகள்: 
* 30 நாட்களில் பேச்சு ஆங்கிலம், Repidex, விவேகானந்தா கல்வி நிலையம் போன்றவற்றை நாடாதீர்கள். முறைப்படி இலக்கண விதிகளை நினைவு வைத்துப் பேச வேண்டி இருப்பது, உங்களை மனம் தளரச் செய்யலாம். நீங்கள் பேசிப் பழகப் பழக நாளடைவில் இலக்கணம் தானாக வரும்.

(Ielts அது இதுன்னும் ஆங்கில நாட்டில் படிக்க சென்ற பிறகும் வாயில் இயல்பாய் நுழையாமல் இருந்த ஆங்கிலம்.. அப்படியான ஒரு பெற்றோல் ஸ்டேசனில்தான்.. எனக்குள் நுழைந்து இயல்பாக பேச வைத்தது. கூச்சத்தை போக்கியது.

சின்ன சின்ன படம் போட்ட காமிக்ஸ் புத்தகங்களை வாசிக்கப் பழகுவது.. இப்படி எல்லா இடத்திலும் நீக்கமற அந்த மொழி நிறைந்திருந்தால் நிச்சயம் நன்றாகவே அம்மொழியை விரைவில் கற்க முடியும் என்று நான் அனுபவத்தில் உணர்ந்த ஒன்று..

English is a living language, and no dictionary, not even so-called online ones, have succeeded in capturing the essence of not just what is right/wrong but also what is beautiful/inappropriate.
The dictionary is right now relegated to just two increasingly-irrelevant things.
- to learn the etymology of words
- to learn the spelling of words
For everything else, I think, the Internet, Google, and a score of other well-researched and well-maintained blogs and websites serve us better..
And, if you want to learn what is the best word to use in a particular occasion, here are some tips.
- Watch Hollywood movies.
- Read newspaper editorials.
- Read authentic, famous, well-maintained news blogs from BBC, CNN, NYT, The Hindu…
- Make mistakes. The more you sweat in peace, as they say, the less you bleed in war.
- Develop listening/observing skills. If you can watch the micro-reactions of your audience carefully and dynamically evolve and modify what you say and how you say it, you will be pretty much safe most of the time.
No two words in English are EXACTLY the same – for the other one would have been superfluous and not there in the first place. Subtleties abound. Only practice will hone your skills in word choice.
Finally, if you are really serious about this, and are the “book-reader” type here are two books I really liked, for their breadth and depth on the subject.

முன்னமே சொன்னதுபோல்(From one of my colleague’s comment னு) இது என் அனுபவமல்ல. இன்னமும் வாடிக்கையாளர்களிடம் தொலைபேசியில் ஆங்கிலத்தில் பேசும்போது உதறல்தான், அவ்வப்போது சொற்கள் சிக்காமல் திணறுவதுண்டு! அந்த மறுமொழியை (எங்கள் அலுவலக வலைப்பதிவில்) இட்ட ராஜேந்திரன் பல விஷயங்களில் எனக்கு ஒரு தூண்டுகோல். எனக்குத் தெரிந்து ரவியின் இடுகைகளிலேயே இந்த இடுகை பலரைச் சென்றடைந்துள்ளது (மறுமொழிகள் சில சமயம் சிறுபிள்ளைத்தனமாகவும் வேடிக்கையானதாக இருந்தாலும் மன்னிப்போம்!) எனவேதான் இங்கே பதிந்தேன்.
